: They may. Moles with hair in them are sitting on a hair follicle and are usually benign. Any mole can become malignant. I recommend that a dermatologist screen all your skin yearly and then ask you to monitor yourself as well including taking pictures serially.of moles to help detect any changes.

Keratoses: Keratotic (so-called "stucco") lesions are common on the  trunk and elsewhere on the body. They are not dangerous but certainly are annoying. Try an otc lotion, such as lac hydrin or amlactin, with Lactic Acid or salicylic acid in it, to soften the top layer of skin. If those lotions aren't strong enough a dermatologist can prescribe one of a number of stronger preparations.

Examination : Any new appearing lesions, spots &amp; sores on the eye should be examined. You are probably seeing nevi or epheli both which are common on the iris. Rarely nevi can transform into melanoma. An examination will establish a diagnosis and a baseline. Most are monitored by periodic checkups.

Insulin resistance?: Hard to say without seeing it, but i would suspect acanthosis nigricans, which is a darkening and thickening of the skin (which ends up looking "velvety") in the flexural creases, like the underarms, the neck, the popliteal fossa (inner elbow) and the groin. This is a sign of Insulin resistance, which is the mechanism by which overweight people eventually may develop diabetes.
