Needs to be checked: You have continued to have spotting after the period ended for 1to 2 weeks, if you are still spotting you should have it checked by your gynecologist
stress, busy and hectic lifestyle, it may be old blood which may be brown, infections can cause it too, deeper penetration during sex, polyps of uterus or cervix and irregular periods are the causes.It may be nothing serious but have it checked.

Yes, normal: After medication abortion you can have spotting for a couple of weeks. When women describe brown bleeding it's usually glad that's just been around for a few days. I hope you've gone back for your follow-up appointment and know for sure that you are no longer pregnant. I also hope that you're on high efficacy contraception so you don't get pregnant until if and when your are ready to be a mom!

Discharge may be ok: Brown premenstrual d/c , if rest of cycles NL, as in cramping level, timing, duration, bleeding, may be a nl variation.
Are you check ups otherwise ok? If not or over due, See your provider.
