When you can not pull the brow in and down they tend to become spread apart and rise up a bit. This is the chemical lift you are talking about. There is also face lifts using Botox and dermal fillers

Not all patients are candidates for either, so check with a facial plastic surgeon.

Not the solution: If  your upper eyelids are very hooded then Botox is not for you.The relaxation of the frontalis muscles on the forehead will cause more pressure on your already burdened upper lids. The situation could get worse. If they are that bad a surgical eyelid lift ( blepharoplasty) is better for you.

Yes: This procedure is only to elevate the brow to a more youthful position, it will improve the upper eyelids only as much as brow ptosis is contributing to the eyelid ptosis.  The surgery usually involves 3-5 small incisions within the hairline, freeing the scalp from the skull, poss, removing some the muscles between the eyebrows to reduce furrowing, and re anchoring the scalp at appropriate spot.

there are many ways to perform a "brow lift", which is intended to elevate relaxed brows and to smooth the forehead. Like any operation, local mild to moderate soreness for a few days is common. Numbness in the forehead and scalp behind any forehead incisions may also occur. A sense of tightness and reduced movement of the forehead and brows can occur, although some movement is generally always observed, but may feel less agile than normal.

See doc: I would normally give some narcotic pain medication after this operation.  I would see your doc and let him/her examine you to make sure u are not having any complications and to possibly be given a prescription for stronger medication.
