when i broke my foot 4 weeks ago i couldn't move my toes. today for the first time, i can move them a little. is this a good sign of healing?

i have a toe infection and i havent put the treatment on it for a long time and even when i did put it on it was every once in a while.i touched my toe today and ive touched other things and im paranoid. should i clean everything? please help?

Not to worry: it depends what the Toe infection is caused by. If it is bacterial and you have swelling and redness adjacent to the nail, you should be seen for oral antibiotics. If it is a fungal infection of the toenail or the skin around the toes, it would be difficult to infect others via objects and household items. Put a few drops of tea tree oil in your body gel and your feet will get treatment every day

prescribed griseofulvin for nine months for tinea pedis.small toe looks infected quite dark. is this a good period of time for treatment?

Yes: It is time to change medication and consider alternatives. More effective antifungal drugs are available. Laser treatment and nail removal have also worked for some. 
Clotrimazole is also not a preferred drug for tinea.

may have developed callus under big toe from walking too much in the wrong shoe which caused constant numbness for 2wks and counting. when to see the doctor again? how long is the healing time? still numb?

: Callusses form when a constant source or mechanical friction causes a buildup of excess thickened skin at certain points of the foot. It is rarely associated with numbness, though. You should see the Dr about the numbness, since this is not typical.

i fractured right pinky toe in the joint of the proximal phalange.  6w, surgical shoe, not healing & still pain.  next? cast/surgery? can i delay for a better time to not be able to drive?

Hard to treat.: I would C a podiatrist &amp; C if inserts can help you. I have removed them in my practice but as a last resort.

Never normal feet: Club foot is congenital deformity, with proper treatments ( including corrective surgery ) may look normal when wearing  shoes , never perfect normal with out shoes.

Tendon healing: It really is a variable thing to talk about healing times for tendons. 
If the tendon is cut, crushed or just bruised it will heal differently. It may take more than a month.  Protect and rest the area. If you tore the tendon or cut the tendon you should see help from your podiatrist.

Affecting ONE foot: Generally when only one foot is involved, there is a nerve problem or impingement causing the numbness.  She can have nerve conduction studies to find out where the problen lies, then get it treated.
