Accepted Answer

No: We don't see blood vessels in the iris break in these scenarios, however it is very common to  get subconjunctival hemorrhages where a blood vessel on the white of your eye breaks, causing an appearance of a red eye.

Accepted Answer

Time: Assuming these are the only symptoms you are concerned with, generally time and some ice will lead to the reabsorption of blood from the broken vessels from vomiting but you should seek preventative care for your migraines to avoid these horrible events in the future. There are effective treatments available.

Really intense cough: All the parts of your body are connected so if you have a really intense cough it is not surprising that you feel it rattling other parts of your body. Now the question is why are you coughing so intensely. I obviously don't know what is causing the cough. It could be an infectious process, an allergic one or something else. You should see your doc ASAP and get a work up.

i had the flu and was puking all night, now ihave popped blood vessels on my skin and my head hurts everytime i cough, will this pain go away?

Yes: If this is in fact influenza you will get better over a period of two weeks or so.  Unless you get a secondary bacterial infection you will not benefit from an antibiotic.  As long as you are not getting worse after the miserable first five days or so you will continue to gradually improve. If this is influenza it helps to understand why flu shots are recommended.

Exclusion diagnosis: If you were having a fine needle biopsy (FNB ?) there are a number of reasons why your blood pressure dropped to a very low level. If nothing was found after cardiac and neurological evaluation the diagnosis of vaso-vagal reflex response can  be mad by exclusion, although it is unusual in a 75 year old with no history of prior fainting.

It is possible: A Mallory Weiss tear is an ulceration at the esophagogastric junction that occurs from vigorous retching.  You can bleed as a result of this tear.

Mallory Weiss tear: You can tear a small portion of your stomach with vomiting. You will want to talk to your doctor who may want to start you on an acid reducing therapy.

Yes: Any activity which can significantly increase the pressure in your head or chest, like violent sneezing, coughing, or vomiting, could be related to a subconjunctival hemorrhage (broken blood vessel). These will not affect your eyesight, and should clear in 7-10 days. It is more likely if the person has high blood pressure, or is taking blood thinners. No treatment is required in most cases.

Subconjuctival bleed: If your vision is fine not likely.  If you are worried see the eye doctor to check the eye.
It will give you piece of mind.

Dilates: Morphine is a smooth muscle relaxant and dialates blood vessels. Also releasing some histamine which also relaxes blood vessels
