It sounds: Like you are describing an almost passing out episode or a pre-syncopal episode. If these are common for you, see your doctor to rule out underlying causes. Sit down and put your head down to improve blood supply to your head and to avoid a fall. All the best.

No: Getting shampoo in the eye can cause a to of irritation and burning.  However it will not affect the inside of the eye.  Also the brightness should not be affected.

Depends but too long means?: If you feel that bright lights stay in your vision so long that it's disturbing, distorting, or disabling you from seeing clearly, for example when you're driving and the oncoming headlights are blinding you afterwards, or flashbulbs brightness last too long, then you need to see your eye doctor. A/he may do a simple test to measure the electrophysiology of your eyes. This will help to determine if it's abnormal or not.

Total myth: If you can accomplish a visual task in dimmer light, that will not harm the eyes  in any way. If the dimmer light makes you more comfortable than go ahead and use it.  Abraham Lincoln was said to have read by the dim light of a fire which seemed to cause him no eye or brain damage.

Many causes: There are many causes of seeing lights in normal eyes ie migraine, pvdetachment, vitreous traction etc.  Neuro ophthalmic  examination is in order.

See your eye doctor: Usually when there's reflection of the sun off glass that you happen to catch, it does leave an after image that usually fades. Depending on how long you were staring at it, or if was momentary, will be good to share with your eye specialist. People who stare at the sun can cause another condition which is solar retinopathy. In either case, you want to have your eye specialist examine your eyes, and do a dilated exam so they can see your retina.

Difficult to answer: The most common cause for foggy vision in bright sunlight is a cataract; this is a clouding of the lens of the eye that happens with age.  This is very treatable with glasses or surgery.  Please see your eye surgeon for an evaluation and good luck!
