Yes: The active ingredient in bleaching gels is hydrogen peroxide or a more stable form called carbamide peroxide. Both forms would not be dangerous to the baby.  Another consideration would be gum sensitivity to the bleach with hormonal inflammation to these tissues. It may feel better to wait until you are not nursing.

No, shouldn't be: Especially if causing pain or prob.  You should always discuss your concerns with your provider though before the surgery so that you know what to expect.  Good luck.

Second opinion: If you were not impressed with the time or treatment given to your child, seek a second opinion.  Babies teeth need to be cleaned regularly, especially before sleep, whether they drink cow's milk, breast milk, or juice.

Visit the dentist: You are young to have a loose wisdom tooth, unless you have a rare form of gum disease, but that would affect other teeth as well. It is hard to say what is going on, could be the gingiva is swollen. The dentist need to examine your teeth and advise you.

Delayed dentition?: Teeth may come in as early as 6months, but its not uncommon to see this start as late as 12-14 months - be patient, discuss with you pediatrician; you may want to see a pediodontist for reassurance

Research: In looking at research on the subject, i would think that there is not a correlation between the two.  Environment has a lot to do with lifelong dental health, but i would not rule out a link because new research is coming out all the time.  Our views 10 years ago may now be totally proven wrong or vice versa, especially when it comes to health and nutrition.

Yes,: There's no contraindication (no reason not to). Just mention this to both your own Dentist and Obstetrician.

Not recommended: Kid should be monitored for side effects on the gastrointestinal flora (e.g.diarrhea). Before using any medication, always check with your pediatrician.

Nipple Infections: should be treated with warm compresses, topical antibiotic ointment, and possibly oral antibiotics depending in the severity of the infection. See you doctor for evaluation. They can sometimes be severe enough to need incision and drainage.
