Why ?: Sauna suits are not recommended for any specific medical therapy. They causes intense sweating. They can lead to dehydration. They do not help a person lose weight they simply cause sweating. They are not recommended for anyone for medical treatments whether breastfeeding or not.

Sauna belt: Because the heat generated by the belt may cause you to become dehydrated it is not advisable when you re breast feeding.

Yes: It is safe, provided you do so safely.

Yes: Lysine is an essential amino acid usually found in a normal diet. As a doctor, I am not aware of any recommendations to breast feeding woman that they require extra lysine, in fact, I have never prescribed it. You should just get it from a proper well balanced diet and then it will pass through the breast milk so that your baby can have some too.

Good question: Breastfeeding is still considered "best" in most situations but you must choose what you feel comfortable with. There are several factors to consider and the last thing I tell my patient's moms is to do what is comfortable for their situation. I strongly encourage breastfeeding but support whatever choice a mother makes.

Breastfeeding: It may be tricky but certainly possible.  You will need lots of support, help, and your pediatrician on board to make sure your baby is healthy through the process.   Do not try this without supervision.

No-Maybe 4 some: A mom/baby learning to breastfeed is like 2 teens at their 1st dance in jr-hi, they sort of know what they are supposed to do, but they don't automatically fee comfortable with it at first.  Some mothers have tons of milk, perfect nipples for latching & a reluctant baby. Other babies could suck milk out of a doorknob, but mom can't get comfortable. Keep trying,  use lactation consultant 4 help.

Persistence!: Fill a pitcher of water and set it next to your breastfeeding spot with a glass.  Drink a glass of water every time you sit down to nurse.  Be sure to get pillows you need to position the baby to the breast, rather than hunching down to the baby to nurse.

No: If you want to breastfeed, don't stop breastfeeding. It is the best nourishment for a baby and also the cheapest! pick an age when you would like to stop and then make a plan.
