No symptoms: Many breast cysts cause no symptoms. Some can cause pain. You should have it checked by a doctor if you haven't already, to make sure it is a cyst.

REPEAT IN SIX MONTH: Depend do you eat too much chocolate or drink a lot of caffeine
that can cause fibrocystic  disease that will create dense breast and shadow that could look like a lump oe a cyst
do not worry keep up with your follow up and in six month if they still concern ask for surgery consult.

Depends: How do you know it is a sebaceous cyst? If it is a sebaceous cyst and it is not a bothering you cosmetically, you may leave it alone. If it enlarges, gets inflamed or develops a discharge, you should see your doctor.

It should be checked: Automatically, no.  It could be fibrocystic breast disease, which is not at all dangerous.  However, it should not be ignored.  Additional imaging, and possibly a biopsy are warranted.

No: Cysts in breast are quite common and are per se not an issue for concern. However, it is not feasible for a women to know if a "lump" in the breast is a cyst or something else. There is disparity in the age in your question, 25 and in your profile, 38, in either case if you are planning to get pregnant, please consult your doctor for initiating care, even before you get pregnant.

i had my annual well womans visit with a np because the obgyn was booked. she checked my breasts and said she felt a cyst. should i have had it further evaluated? side note, she also told me a lipoma on my mons pubis was an abscess forming.

Hmmm...: If a non-doctor practitioner tells a patient her lipoma is an abscess forming, but the patient knows her lipoma is always that way and never forms an abscess, then the patient can get another evaluation but from a doctor, instead of from a non-doctor. Anything in a breast should be checked with some degree of certainty, so that one need not worry about breast cancer.

is combined tamoxifen plus hormonal therapy better for breast cancer in pre or postmenopausal women?

Need to know: Er/pr receptor status on resected tumor, as if these are negative, no role for hormone therapy.  Post orpre-menopausal er+ patients are treated with the effective, cheap, low adverse effect tamoxifen, a useful drug for more than 30 years.  But ovarain function precluses use of anastrazome or the newer more expensive letrozole. These all work; toxiicty and cost vary.

The same: The uterus is not an endocrine (glandular/hormonal) organ and so removing it does not change the endocrine environment in a woman's body. Not all ovarian or breast cysts result form hormone exposure, but many do.
