i been having pain and burning sensation in my left breast. the pain is all over my breast and arm? should i go to er i made a appt to see my doctor but wont be able to see him till 2 weeks should i go to the er?

If : If you are having a fever you should be seen right away as this might represent an infection. This could also be a breast cyst, these are common causes of sudden increasing breast pain.

Yes, if the pain is: Unrelenting, best to have it checked out since women not uncommonly have atypical presentation for heart attack. Tightness in chest, radiating to neck or arm, profuse sweating, nausea are common symptoms, but severe chest pain should be investigated without delay.

Not ER issue: It makes sense to make a regular doctor's appointment for an exam but this is not a good reason for an ER. If it is still there as the week begins, call for an appointment and keep notes on the daily changes. Whatever it might be will almost certainly not become critical and if it does get much worse somehow or other symptoms emerge - the ER will still be there. Best!

See your doctor: You need follow up to find out if you have costochondritis, rib cage problems, echo stress test, or anxiety (the most common cause).  She can help you get started on a treatment plan to include meds for inflammation to the ribs, any heart issues or lung issues, or coping with life circumstances. She may refer you for therapy or start you on medication.

See below: Estrogen receptor (er) is measured to determine whether a tumor is sensitive to hormonal manipulation (things like tamoxifem, arimidex, or removal of ovaries - depending on your age and other factors.  Er+ tumors have better prognosis.  In general her2 + tumors have a worse prognosis, but these tumors may respond to Herceptin (trastuzumab) or similar drugs.

Someone is: Mis-informed: er, pr, her-2-neu all negative is triple negative; you report you are dually positive with 2 receptors.  Have your medical oncologist check and re-explain this 2 u.  You hae every reason to be quite optimistic, but your med onc has more factsthan i do.  Best wishes.

Uncertain: Breast cancer during pregnancy is rare and only a few studies have evaluated this. Pregnancy can hide breast cancers ; make them more difficult to diagnose or found at a later or more advanced stage.
