recently had a lupron injection and will be getting a hysterectomy. now having the side effects like hot flashes. im also breaking out in red bumps all over my face, little heat in my vaginal area, and some burning when i urinate. std or hormones?

: Sudden variation in available ovarian estrogen can produce dermatologic effects, as well as "hot flashes".  Obtain a urinalysis to make sure there is no bladder infection, and a culture/blood test to check for STD's, from a visit with your GYN physician.

Infantile eczema: Allergies, rule out change in detergents or food consumption.Baby eczema (infant eczema or atopic dermatitis) appears in about 10% to15% of children. It shows up as patches of red skin.Skin is almost always itchy, dry, and rough. Dry skin, irritants, and allergens causes.Usually outgrow condition. Treatment with daily warm baths, not hot, no bubble baths, soaps, use moisturizer on skin after bath.

Rash: Without seeing it is incredibly difficult to posit what is going on.  It sounds like a rash but from what I have no idea. Any new exposures? New creams, makeup, wash? Any bumps on other parts of your skin? What about other types of rashes. Certain dermatophytes can cause an 'Id' reaction in other areas on the skin. See your doctor or a dermatologist if it persists.

It : It sounds like it may be follicultis, but please google folliculitis and see if it looks like your condition.  Rashes are very hard to diagnose without seeing them, so i would highly advise that you see a dermatologist.  You can try using anti-bacterial soap, your pharmacist can recommend one, but I do advise that you see a dermatologist for a diagnosis.  If you have pain, redness, fever, or new symptoms then you must be seen immediately.

i have been breaking out with these bumps all over my body in different places. a bump will appear and get bigger and come to a head and start draining a clear liquid. this all happens over a period of a week or so. do you have any idea what it could be?

That : That is a concerning history  there are multiple skin conditions that can cause this.  Do you have a history of MRSA (methicillin resistant staph aureus)?  You need to have this evaluated and that is very important.  If you develop redness, red streaks, swelling or fever, or any shortness of breath, then you must be seen as an emergency.

everytime i wear jeans, or any type of pants like jeans i break out in small red real itchy bumps all over my legs. but not for any other pants. :(?

Irritant vs contact: You may have a contact allergy to one of the ingredients in your jeans. Another possibility is that jeans are worn tightly and may be rubbing on your skin whereas other types of pants are not usually that tight.  See a dermatologist or allergist to get patch tested if you cannot avoid wearing jeans.

is it possible to develop an allergic reaction to an antibiotic while you're taking it? i'm on my second week of amoxicillin and this morning woke up with red bumps all over.  i break out in hives with penicillin and sudafed which is why i ask.

Amoxicillin : Amoxicillin is very closely related to penicillin.  People with a true penicillin allergy like you (causing hives) should not take amoxicillin.  I would suggest stopping the medication and calling your doctor right away to find out what to do next. You may need medication to stop the allergic reaction and perhaps a different antibiotic, depending on the reason it was prescribed.

People have been known to show allergic symptoms after taking antibiotics for several days and even if they have taken the same antibiotic before and have not had problems.

i had a cold sore on my lip put some campho-phenique on it and now i have little red bumps all over my chin lips and they break open and bleed or crust over with pus if i rub it because it is sore and itches woke up today and my lip and chin is swollen?

Progression of sore: Either there is continued progression of the cold sore, or your skin was burned by the camphor.  Now it's best to see your doctor to straighten this out and get proper treatment.

Get checked out: Coughs after a viral illness may last for weeks, but you need to get her checked out to make sure that it is nothing else.  With the resurgence of things like whooping cough, coughs over a week to 10 days need to be checked.  Use a humidifier, lots of fluid intake and aoid respiratory irritants like smoke.  Also, get your thermometer checked - ? Reading low. Bumps may be result of infection.
