Leaky gut?: The only testing for a leaky gut is still done in experiments using mannitol or Lactulose. Your fatigue and brain fog may be due more to IBS. Food allergy causes reproducible symptoms like rash, diarrhea, vomiting, wheezing.

Unrelated: It is extremely unlikely that candybar has anything to do with your symptoms. You may have a common cold, flu, reaction to medication and in uncommon cases it may be a prodrome of a more serous illness. If the symptoms do not abate in week, it would be prudent to see your doctor.

I recommend being evaluated with a 6 hour glucose tolerance test to see whether you have low blood sugar an hour or two after ingesting glucose. Men may experience a: decline in testosterone (sometimes referred to as male menopause, or as andropause) but this is very different than female menopause. Low testosterone may contribute to reduced motivation, reduced self-confidence, sadness, difficulty with concentration and memory (which may be considered brain fog).
