Yes!: Any measures that improves oral hygiene before oral surgery is always good and helps prevent infection.

Smoking pot: Absolutely not. If anything you are at greater risk of having a complication. Smoking pot is not like having cookies and milk.  Unfortunately society is trying to trivialize its use -wrongly i might add.

Don't stop: Assuming you have presented a full list of all your medications to the Oral Surgeon for pre-surgical review, do not change any meds unless told to do so.  It is important that you take all meds exactly as directed.

Maybe: It may but usually not that much.  Usually the pain is easily managed with a prescription pain medication but some patients find tylenol (acetaminophen) or advil is adequate.

A good "rule" to : Follow for the first week - anything that you can very easily separate with a fork only, you can eat.  This opens the door to a variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner foods.  

Sutures present -soft only.  No sutures placed - then whatever you can tolerate comfort-wise.

No pain: You should be completely numb and not feel anything for the removal of your wisdom teeth.  Discuss your particular circumstances with your surgeon for more specific answers and the options regarding local anesthesia, with or without "sweet air", or IV sedation.

No: Depending on how impacted they are and how much surgery it takes to remove them will depend on how much discomfort you will have after the procedure.  It also depends on how your body heals and how experienced the surgeon is removing them.  I would tell you to have them out with sedation and you will have everything done while your asleep and once you wake it all over.  Good luck!
