Bow legs: The alignment of your knees is how your skelton formed as you developed.  In order to change the alignment of the bones you would need an osteotomy where the bone is cut and a plate & screws or other device is used to hold the new alignment until it heals in about 8 wks.  Unless you have knee pain from your alignment it may not be for you.

Dep on Deformity/Sx: While physiologic alignment is typically 7.2º valgus, many individuals have varus alignment (bow legs).  If the treatment is subtle and there are no symptoms and no change on plain filims, the treatment is expectant.  Otherwise, depending on the degree of deformity and symptoms treatment is initially conservative with medication/braces/therapy. Surgical correction by osteotomy is rarely indicated.

None:  You can improve the osteomalacia with a variety of prescription medications after a proper evaluation. The bow legs are based on how gravity has effected your posture with the weak bones. Any improvement would require evaluation/treatment by an orthopedic surgeon. Your best bet now is to fix the bone issue so it does not get worse.

It is a disorder of decreased mineralization, which results in bone breaking down faster than it can re-form. It is a condition that occurs in adults. In children, inadequate concentrations of vitamin D may cause rickets.

Depends on age cause: Bowlegs or genu varum or blount'sdisease is due abnormal underdevelopment or dysplasia causes bow like appearance of legs.  Seen in rickets ( vit d def ), lead and fluorides, in young age braces, after puberty  corrective surgery done some times.

Depends: It depends on the cause of bowed legs. Some people have a natural curve that creats that impression, but functionally they do very well and that is not easily noticeable. In that case, no correction needed. On the other hand, if there is any existing hip, knee or ankle issue, it must be corrected to prevent the progression and cure the problem.

This is chronic: There are ways to break and reheal your legs but i think this unfortunately is due to the rickets you had as a child.
