: some do and some don’t. Also depends on what you eat with your drink. Your body will generally absorb what it needs and reject what it does not.

is it possible that drinking a lot of sparkling mineral water can be causing my chronic nausea? there seems to be a direct link between me drinking it and the nausea increasing. why would this happen if so? thank you for your help?

: It is not likely that sparkling water is causing your nausea, but can definitely worsen it by increasing acidity and reflux. In order to sort it out switching to still water for few weeks may give you a better sense of what the effect of sparkling water was on your nausea.

: Hard to know. You say "high in minerals" but do not list what they are and in what quantity. Salt is a mineral &amp; too much can be fatal. A person can drink enough of anything and get into trouble. You get the most from this site when you provide detailed information about your concern. In this case it would include minerals involved and projected fluid intake. You are welcome to start over.

Likely nothing: Tastes often change with age. 
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

using a cpap, understand  distilled water the way to go. child uses distilled with minerals added for taste on formula.  ok for me to use in cpap?

Distilled water: Pure distilled water is best. The minerals are filtered out and may clog your filter on the CPAP requiring you to change the filter more often or maybe even interfering with the air flow.

Boiling->Condensing: If you are trying to get water that does not have any salt, the easiest way to purchase distilled water from the grocery store. If you are trying to remove salt from water, the only way to do this is to distil the water. Distillation is the process of purifying a liquid by boiling it and condensing its vapors.

Mineral water: As long as you are not swelling and have no kidney problems I see no problem with drinking mineral water.  Drinking cold water is never a problem.
