Distilled water: Pure distilled water is best. The minerals are filtered out and may clog your filter on the CPAP requiring you to change the filter more often or maybe even interfering with the air flow.

Probably: Though most CPAP instructions call for distilled water, my wife has CPAP and i looked it up. Much water in containers just uses tap water, some use spring water, but your sons water contains none of these other problems. So it, s sO.K.
