Liver issues: can occur if the product has unsaturated  pyrrolizidine alkaloids.  Because of the concern of reliable quality in US products, I usually prefer other sources of GLA.  There are companies that remove the  pyrrolizidine alkaloids, but you should be careful about choosing your product.

I wouldnt: I never recommend anything to induce labor unless it is in a more controlled environment.

Letting your labor naturally start is always safer for you and your baby. Unless of course, you are going too far past your due date. 

I wouldnt take a chance with over the counter products to induce labor, .

i started taking 5 borage oil pills daily 1000mg . is there anything harmful doing this. dr. oz suggested 800mg daily of gla. each pill contains 160mg?

Clarify: If the total you are taking is 1000 mg per day, this has been used safely for up to 24 weeks. If they are 1000 mg per pill, you are taking way too much.

Mild interactions: Hi.
Taking super b complex, magnesium, fish, flax, borage oil and wormwood black walnut may produce loose stools.  The Magnesium fish, flax and borage oil have a laxative effect.
While you can take them all at once you might be better to take  the super b and wormwood black walnut in the morning and  the laxative ones at beditme.  Be cautious

i take omega 3-6-9 capsules daily using the recommended dosage of 2 capsules 3x daily. this totals to 1200mg of fish, flax, & borage oil per day. on top of this, i take 1 capsule of 1000mg pumpkin seed oil per day. is this safe?

: For a young healthy adult who takes a normal diet I think all dietary supplements are a waste of money and unhelpful. Too much of a good thing is not necessarily a good thing. You can also check with your MD on that.

i have severe atopic dermatitis eczema and have several allergies including tree nuts and fish. is borage oil safe and effective for me? thank you.

Borage oil: Borage oil for skin application has been felt to be anti-inflammatory and moisturizing. However  results for eczema have been mixed. No adverse effects would be expected with atopic dermatitis for short term use, but I would recommend asking a dermatologist about long term effects.

is it safe to take evening primrose oil/borage oil (star flower oil capsules) daily for joint relief, helps my mood, skin & immensely helps with breast tenderness/pms/cramps. with occasional 5mg valium prescribed by my gp when needed for anxiety??

Primrose oil: I recommend that never take snake oil like primrose oil. There has been no good research and they can add anything they want (and do) : arsenic, mercury, Viagra, steroids to mention a few.

Unlikely if . . .: Check out http://www.drugs.com/interactions-check.php?drug_list=1463-0,1059-10639 assuming you're referring to Levothyroxine (there are thyroid medications for an overactive thyroid, too). Do be careful w/your Clonazepam as it can cause confusion, addiction &amp; increase risk for falls &amp; fractures (at least in elderly, no, you don't qualify yet).

will taking pumpkin seed oil supplements 1000mg for hair loss, negatively effect my thyroid functioning? i have hypothyroidism taking 75mcg synthyroid

Not studied: Hi. No one has studied the effect of pumpkin seed oil (PSO) on thyroid function; just like no one has studied its effect on hair loss! So take PSO to your heart's content; you're enriching some snake oil salesperson, but I seriously doubt it will have any effect on your thyroid function tests or l-thyroxine dose. Good luck!
