The bonding was done to change the appearance of your front teeth. They are now different to what your mouth had grown accustomed to.

If you are happy with the appearance, try to give it a little time for your lips and tongue to get comfortable. Having your dentist polish them again may also help a bit.

The alternative is to remove some of the bonding, but that will change the look.

The : The life expectancy of a bonding can vary depending on the application, the material and your personal home care.  Although you are using seven years as a guideline, many bondings can last well beyond that time.  If you feel as though they are still cosmetically pleasing and your dentist tells you that they are functionally intact, then they are fine and don't need replacement.

Smile Makeover: Please see a local dentist for an evaluation. There's more to lengthening your two central incisors than you realize. Forget about using composite bonding... the material is not designed for this and will break off when you bite down. Porcelain laminates or crowns may be necessary.

If your front teeth were so far off that now you are traumatizing your molars, then you have a more complicated situation. The work may have created an unbalanced occlusion. Front teeth do protect back teeth, see a trained dentist.
