Incision and drainag: See a physician to have the lesion incised and drained of pus. Antibiotics will not help unless the pus is drained.

Hidradenitis?: Should see your doc regarding treatment for this.  May need topical or systemic antibiotics in addition to a general program of support, diet, wt loss, education, smoking cessation, etc.

Get an exam...: An abscess likely needs antibiotics and may need to be drained.  That can't be determined until you have it examined by a physician.  Make an appointment to have it seen today.  Apply warm compresses in the meantime.  If you can't get an appointment rather quickly, consider a visit to an ER/urgent care center.

Depending on the type of insect bite, brown recluse spiders are, for example, notorious to cause massive tissue damage, while most of the others are self limited with local care. Given the fact that you have fever also would suggest seeing your PCP or go to Urgent Care.
