Whole body itching : A rash needs to be seen to provide specific medical advice. I wonder if you have scabies.  The key to the diagnosis is the spread to another  person

Check liver function: especially if your appetite is off.  This could be an adverse reaction to the medication or even a delayed drug allergy.  Or it could be an issue unrelated to medication (dry skin, bed bugs, change in fabric softener or laundry detergent causing a low grade skin reaction. If the itchiness is localized to one side of the body and spreads from one area to another think partial elementary seizure.

Not normal: Sometimes a mite on the skin can cause itching at nightime. It is usually a rash that is easily identifiable
and very common. Scabies?

Substances that commonly cause contact dermatitis include plant sap, metals, cleaning solutions, cosmetic additives, perfumes, industrial chemicals, and latex rubber additives.

Rash: Sounds like hives if they come and go, are sporadic, pop up all over the place, are very itchy, etc. You  might want to have this evaluated if it does not get better with a little otc antihistamine.

Red spots: May be bed bugs,scabies,  or folliculitis ( infection of hair follicles), or tinea (fungal ) , pitryasis or eczema . Liver disease can cause intching as can kidney disease, but that is less likely and the spots of liver disease do not blister. Try antihistamines , benedryl at night for 1-2 weeks, try topical bacitracin or zinc oxide -may be infected.Fungal .scabies need treatment need f/u with doc

Maybe: Pinworms like to come out at night, lay eggs around the anus, irritating (itchy at night and usually other times too); makes you scratch, get your hands infested, touch your mouth swallow eggs, and get more (yucky, but clever adaptation on their part)
could be other stuff, unrelated.
