Not usual: You have a history of hiatal and peptic ulcers.  You have noticed night sweats and fevers.  It is unusual to think of peptic ulcers causing fever and night sweats if you are treated.  Start recording your actual temperature and time to see when it spikes.  Take this information to your doctor.  She/he will want to know the medications you take and any herbal supplements. Variety of reasons: These symptoms could be from a virus , bacterial infection a series of other illnesses. Normally viral illness lasts a few days then resolves. I recommend you see your primary or clinic just to rule out bacterial causes of this . Simple blood work can be done at that time as well.

Not typical: But worth testing, at least trying to rule it out. It is likely that a different condition or complications from an infection may be causing your symptoms. Check in with your GP so that you will have proper followup.

Pollen: this time of year it may be from high pollen count and allergies.  Try an antihistamine like Claritin (loratadine) over the counter.  Yellow stuff usually means it is not a bacterial infection.  Stay on the Claritin (loratadine) for one week.  Also Check your temperature and no fevers.

See physician: If you are having shaking chills or if your are sweating so that your bed clothes are wet, you may have an infection or other medical problem that is not affected by the antibiotic that you have been taking.  You need to see your physician for a complete evaluation and an explanation of why you have been taking that antibiotic
