Check with Ob/Gyn: Speak to your ob/gyn if they do not find a medical reason consider talking to a psychotherapist. Make sure it is not due to something like lyme disease which is very common here in ct.

Does not last 3weeks: Pms does not last for three weeks.You should it checked as you may have back problem causing pain in back and legs.Consult your doctor and find out the cause of your pain.

Yes: Simple treatmentsw are nonsteroidal meds  over the counter aleve , naprosyn etc also tylenol (acetaminophen).

Variable: PMS seems to vary by each person and over time. Some never have it at all. The descriptions often are likely to be shared by friends and relatives, but yours can be unique. You are more sensitive at this time and since breat sensations are common, and armpits are nearby, perhaps that's the link. See your Dr if it's too annoying or you're worried.

hi, i get muscle aches during pms, and a few other uncomfortable symptoms, such as mood fluctuations, as well. any tips on mitigating these symptoms? i know pms is very common, but it's not fair?

: PMS can be modified by oral birth control pills, which can be taken for several packs in a row w/o the placebo break.  PMS varies with the individual, but is due to estrogen withdrawal just prior to ovulation and menstruation.  Ask your GYN physician for guidance, and while treatments with oral bcp's may be an inconvenience, it will provide symptom relief.

Fatigue: Things to rule out are heart or blood vessels, kidneys, blood such as anemia, electrolyte imbalance, or effect of medications. Your primary care doctor is your best one to consult.

Trying to guess: What mother nature has instore can be fraught with error.  It may be pms- but no one can accurate predict that. Take a home pregnancy test if you miss your period. An early pregnancy test can be taken up to 6 days prior to a missed period.

Sounds like symptoms: of early pregnancy. I'd suggest an EPT. If negative or positive, see your OB-GYN. Take Folate, (folic acid) don't drink, smoke or use drugs.

GYN: Many excellent medications are available to treat PMS; however, I suggest a complete GYN exam and evaluation.

PMS: There are several options for treating PMS. Different birth control methods can be prescribed in different ways to alleviate the symptoms. Low dose antidepressants have also been shown to be effective. See an Obgyn to discuss options.
