PMS can be modified by oral birth control pills, which can be taken for several packs in a row w/o the placebo break. PMS varies with the individual, but is due to estrogen withdrawal just prior to ovulation and menstruation. Ask your GYN physician for guidance, and while treatments with oral bcp's may be an inconvenience, it will provide symptom relief.
