Yes: I recommend Tylenol (acetaminophen). Avoid NSAIDS such as Ibuprofen, Advil, Aleve which can be harmful. You can try a warm bath and also heating pads. If this does not help, bring your symptoms up at your next appointment. Best of luck!

is it normal to ache in your hips during your first trimester?

Accepted Answer

Yes.: Round ligament pain is a normal pregnancy symptom/discomfort that should gradually improve and generally respond to tylenol (acetaminophen) and rest/avoidance of prolonged standing. If the pain is severe or persistent despite rest and tylenol (acetaminophen) see your obstetrician for advice. Take Folic Acid and good luck!

See below : Mainly due to muscle stretch/strain.  Also changes in the way you walk due to changes in your body and your center of gravity.

Accepted Answer

It will get better: Breast tenderness is one of the most common symptoms of early pregnancy. It is so common that it is the tip-off to some women that they are, indeed, pregnant. It will get better after the first trimester.  Wearing a supportive bra can help.  Sports bras can be great because they are very supportive and will accommodate changes in breast size that may also happen at this time.

while you are pregnat is it easier for you to have more sore throat  more frequently i'am in my first trimester and i have been having a lot of sore throats n hoarseness in my voice for weeks now is this something serious

Infections : Infections of this type are not more common in pregnancy. It may be that you had been exposed to someone with an infection recently. Check with your OB if you do not improve over the next week or two. Sometimes it takes a while (several weeks)  for hoarseness to improve after a viral infection. I hope you don't smoke since that can slow healing and be bad for the baby.

Good to check: If you are having pain that you feel is not normal it is best to see your Obgyn for an evaluation. In the first trimester they ned to make sure there is a baby located inside of the uterus and not an ectopic pregnancy. They can also evaluate the ovaries for a corpus luteum cyst and others. Left lower abdominal pain sometimes is constipation

i'm in my first trimester i've been experiencing abdominal burning and pain aswell as an increase of back ache within a few days that does not go away.. at what point should i see a gynae?

Pregnancy ?'s: First trimester pain at 7-9 weeks pregnancy may indicate insufficient progesterone production by the ovaries, and placental production not having achieved enough production to compensate.  There are other causes of pain and back ache, so see your OB physician for an exam and other testing.

my dr office is closed on saturday so, here's my question. in my 1st trimester and have a cold. what can i do for my stuffy nose and sore throat?

OTC: You may try topical nasal decongestant spray for up to 5 days and topical OTC anesthetic lozenges (if saline gargle does not work) to relieve your symptoms. Good luck

Gallbladder: or colon, or muscle wall, can cause this sensation.
