: There are a variety of bacteria and viruses which when ingested with improperly prepared food, can cause diarhea, nausea, vomiting stomach cramps, etc. These are termed collectively as food poisoning. These infections can last anywhere from 24 hours to 5 days or more depending on the organism. Drink lots of fluids, eat BRAT diet ( bananas, rice, apples, toast) and rest. Watch for bloody diarrhea.

Yes: Travelers diarrhea is common due to unsanitary water and food. Cipro is a good choice to cure the illness.
Red flags for follow up 24 hours vomiting, severe abdominal pain, dehydration need re evaluation, fluids or hospitalization.

been struggling with diarrhea since saturday (6thfeb) afternoon. also bloated. no nausea, fever, body ache or any other symptoms.  i am still eating well. i have a course of kantrexil and adco-metronida 400mg. what can i take to assist me?

Need a diagnosis: Most diarrhea is caused by a viral infection (Norovirus, Adenovirus, Astravirus plus many others).  These usually last 1-3 days and resolve on their own.  Four days (since Feb 6) is pushing it a little bit.  If it continues for more than another day or 2, see you doctor who can order a lab test on your stool and (perhaps) find a specific cause and order specific treatment.

the worse part is over (throwing up and diarrhea) . but now i have a body ache and head hurts, can i take advil (ibuprofen)?

Yes you can but: Once you are over with an intestinal infection, most of the time it is done and you can eat everything and go back to your regular diet.Yes you can take advil as long as your stomach is ok, but if you still have nausea or feel little sick i will recommend take tylenol (acetaminophen) for pain as it is gentle on your stomach than advil.

Gastroenteritis: Aches with nausea, vomiting and diarrhea suggest a viral gastroenteritis(intestinal flu) and usually runs its course in several days without specific treatment except rest,fluids and light diet. Food poisoning is also a possibility but fever and aches favor a diagnosis of a viral gastroenteritis. Kaopectate helps control diarrhea and Tylenol (acetaminophen) helps the aches.

my throat is so sore i noticed on saturday evening that its starting to get scratchy.. now it feels like its raw inside and sore.. ive been having body ache also mostly in my back. i have been having headaches on and off aswell and i had diarrhea?

: This seems most likely virus, possilby like COVID 19 , although there are possibilities. You should have a telemedicine visit with a doctor.  If you have difficulties breathing, chest symptoms, dizziness, or severe fatigue see a doctor in person right away- call ahead before you go. Keep isolated, stay in one room alone.

Signs of infection: Those are common signs of a systemic response (body wide) to infection.  Sinus infections whether part of a viral or bacterial process can certainly cause these.  Go see your doctor if symptoms last longer than a week or worsen, becoming more severe.
