No: Manufacturers use different practices to make the needles. Some are more polished (/="shiny") than others. You should be able to hear plastic seal snapping when cap first removed from needle, or if any concern, ask person who will be drawing blood if needle new or if will change needles.

Pressure: Take a wad of gauze and hold continuous firm pressure for 20 minutes without looking or stopping. If it is still bleeding seek care immediately at your doctors office or clinic.

Let the lab know : before hand. Breath in slowly &amp; deeply through your nostrils. Fill your lungs with air (but not to the point of discomfort). Hold for a count of five then slowly begin to exhale through an open mouth. Repeat at least 12 times, longer if you need to. If you haven't been assessed for your phobia- that would be prudent. Anxiety is no fun BUT it is treatable.

No need to worry: A small bruise at the site for needle is not uncommon and should heal by itself in a few days.

Not likely: It is unlikely that a needle used to draw blood can be exposed to such a force that it could break off in soft-tissue, such as skin, miscle or a blood vessel. If this were to happen, the broken peice​ can be easli​y identified with x-ray or ultrasound.

Testing venous blood: While not everything requires a blood test, lab testing is the backbone of modern medicine and blood is the most common, useful and cost effective sample to test.  There are some tests than can be done with a finger stick, but those devices are less reliable and limited than testings that uses blood from a vein. Good blood drawing technique can make it easier for even the most phobic patients.

Phobia: Take someone with you to distract you, once your mind is off it, you won't feel it that much.

Depends which tests: No specific problem comes to mind but blood work could help rule certain things in or out along with a thorough medical examination.  Before, completely believing that "blood test done all ok" is actually accurate can you specify which tests were done and exactly what the results were?  Also, tell us if your symptoms are concentrated in certain parts of the body as opposed to "all over?".
