If your oxygen level is low, one compensation is to increase your ventilation, if possible, resulting in low carbon dioxide levels but higher oxygen levels. Low CO2...: COPD is a chronic lung disease. If your carbon dioxide level is low, it means you are breathing deeper and/or faster and you are "blowing off" your carbon dioxide. It is often a sign that you are working harder to breathe. If your oxygen level is normal, it means you are able to get in enough oxygen. If your oxygen level is low, supplemental oxygen is prescribed.

Ask your doctor: Your hematocrit is slightly high but it is not unexpected if you have COPD which causes some impairment of oxygenation of the blood. So your body is making more red cells in order to compensate for it.
Ask you doctor if the other blood cells are all normal because similar changes can occur in Polycythemia Vera(P.Vera) which is a blood disease where there is excessive production of red cells &amp;wbc,

Yes: COPD is extremely rare in children.  Alpha 1 antitrypsin deficiency is a known cause of COPD or emphysema.  The onset of lung disease is uncommon before early adulthood.  Protein replacement therapy is available to treat this disorder if causing copd/emphysema.

BUN is blood urea nitrogen - normal is usually around  7 to 20 mg/dL (2.5 to 7.1 mmol/L).  Total blood cacium levels usually have a normal range of  8.6 to 10.2 milligrams per deciliter (mg/dL). Triglycerides are usually drawn when one is fasting  and should be less than150 (mg/dL).
