had 2 ekgs a couple of days ago, but when i get up to walk outside, my heart starts palpitations and heart rate jumps to 160. ekgs good, blood pressures spikes high, but goes back to normal when sitting down. don't want to move, or know what to do?

: You should see a cardiologist or a nephrologist. Normal EKG at rest does not rule out certain diseases which manifest with the symptoms you described.

BP ; Heart Rate: Yes, anxiety attacks raise BP and heart rate.  Such attacks are self-limiting, with the most intense symptoms resolving in minutes and the aftermath in an hour or two.  It leaves folks fearful of another one happening.  A good psychologist can help you mange them and many people do very well indeed.  Peace and good health in our stressful world.

BP supine standing : When BP is measured the center of the cuff on the arm must be at heart level (check wiki).   When supine some need pillow under arm. Not doing gives false low BP.  When standing if arm down at side BP may be as much as + 12 too high. Depending on arm length&amp;height. Normal for heart rate to go up when standing.  To keep you from fainting.  Discuss other reason s with Dr.

Not reliable: Blood pressure and heart rate are variable during a heart attack and not reliable predictors of a heart attack. Rather chest pain usually on the left side should be evaluated right away.

6 and 12 hours: This drug is metabolized into Dextroamphetamine which has a half life of 12 hours.  If you're taking single, sporadic doses, you should take your BP and hr at 6 and 12 hours after the first dose and anytime the dose is increased. If you take it on a regular basis, you'll see peak effects about 3-5 days after beginning it and should check your vital signs then.

Normal: 90-130/60-90 with modifications for dm and renal diseases. Heart rate may change with physiologic activity 60- 90 may be lower in athletes.
