Not usually: Blod tests for inflammation are very non specific.  The easiest way to diagnose bursitis is to image the affected joint with an MRI - non contrast.

i have history from fall 20ft on ice on my butt and have throbbing and pulsating in my hip. i also have left si fusion and left hip bursitis. is the trochanter bursitis pulsating or throbbing? i also keep getting blood in my urine comes and goes?

: What you described warrants an in-person evaluation and you should see your doctor at your earliest. Bleeding from any opening is a cause for investigation.

Not likely: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor. If you are overweight it is imperative that you lose weight through diet and exercise.

i had an appendectomy 6 weeks ago. i have a blood clotting disorder, so was given clexane for 2 weeks. 4 weeks after surgery, i had sharp pain in my outer left thigh. dr. says she is unsure, but she thinks bursitis. could it also be a blood clot?

Yes: Ah. Clexane (UK) = Lovenox (US). Sure, but with receipt of anticoagulant a collection of blood (hematoma) is more likely than a blood clot (thrombosis). Can’t be sure without a radiographic study - CT scan in US, maybe ultrasound in UK (cheaper - No money in UK - gotta’ do everything on the cheap).

Regardless, get it done NOW - could be serious

Tenosynovitis: Can become intractable.  If conventional treatment (NSAIDs, splinting, physical therapy,etc) hasn't worked steroid injection into the affected tendon sheath under ultrasound guidance can often provide quick relief.

For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

LOOK FOR THE SOURCE: Anemia is common in female but not that low
blood transfusion and iron will help bring the count up but your doctor has to make an effort to look for the source of your anemia
it is not normal to go that low without a reason.

Usually ~300ml: Whole blood is collected from a donor, and the blood is then spun in a centrifuge to separate the red blood cells from the plasma and platelets.

Transfusion volumes can vary quite a bit...One unit of red blood cells is typically around 300 milliliters (about 10 ounces);  a bag of plasma or platelets is about 200 milliliters.
