Reason?: Is there a reason why you want to increase the blood flow during your period?  Some women just naturally have low flow - and that's normal for them.  If you're spotting between periods, then that's another issue, and could possible be helped by birth control.

You can't: You really can't increase your period flow - there are medications you can use to decrease the blood flow (mostly contraceptives), but not really to increase it. You could take estrogen and that may cause an increase in blood flow, but this would not be advisable since estrogen alone can cause endometrial cancer and increase risk of blood clots.

Sometimes: Implantation bleeding varies for everyone.  Bright red bleeding doesn't exclude it as a possibility.

Many things!: Menstrual flow can be altered by a large number of things. Increased blood flow can be due to fibroids, adenomyosis, endometriosis, bleeding/clotting problems, and uterine polyps, increased estrogen, and MANY OTHER things. Be sure to follow-up with your OB/GYN or primary care physician if you are experiencing changes in menstrual bleeding.

: Menstrual irregularities are not uncommon and anovulatory cycle is a common cause. If you miss more than two periods it would be time to see your doctor. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time. You may consider implanted contraceptive or an IUD.

No: The amount of flow you have is determined by your own hormone stimulation of the womb and the tissue it builds in response. You don't change that with anything other than competing hormones unless you are ready for a hysterectomy or ablation which ends your ability to get pregnant.
