i just had blood drawn 4 days ago.(enzymes ok) now my right interior elbow is sore & swollen. lymph nodes or blood clot?

Vein my be inflamed: If the blood draw was close to the side where you are having the soreness and swelling this may be an inflammatory reaction and/or clot secondary to the puncture. I would try a warm compress and some Ibuprofen and see your doctor. Good luck!

4 mos ago i 1st felt a sml swollen lymph node (submandibular) & an even smaller one directly adjacent to it. they're moveable, blood tests ok, worry?

Probably not: However, it is reasonable to see your doctor.  This way he/she can see how they feel now and recheck later to assess stability.

if i have a lymph node or cyst on top of coroided artery right side. could it cut off the blood flow and cause a blood clot?

Neck swelling: Matt, since the supposed cyst or lymphnode is outside the artery, unless it is huge, there won't be mechanical compression and blood supply cut off. Blood clot, it is not simple to answer without feeling this swelling and considering work up  depending on what your physician thinks. A simple cyst doesn't cause blood clot. Let your physician examine you.

i am referred to an ent due to long term swollen lymph node.. ct done, bloods normal.. i have now found another one on other side of neck? worry?

Biopsy?: No need to worry yet. Just return and see if your ENT thinks a biopsy is indicated to rule out Hodgkin's lymphoma which can happen after mononucleosis sometimes. Fortunately, that is usually treatable, even curable. Please do make sure your hiv test is done and negative, though.

five months ago i noticed a pea-size lump behind my right ear. the doctor said it was a swollen lymph node. the blood test was good. i was told it will go away by itself in 3 months! i still have it (same size, move around, no pain). what is it?

Lymph node: You can watch and wait. You may feel the node every couple of weeks, if the lymph gland doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor. Wish you good health!

the lymph nodes in my pelvis have been swollen/sore all day i just had a bowel movement & it was bloody and had a few blood clots can it wait until am?

If you are: hemorrhaging or have severe abdominal pain that warrants immediate evaluation.  Bloody diarrhea is also a medical emergency. If you have black, tarry, malodorous stool that is also evidence of GI bleeding. Would definitely get checked w/in 24 hours and if it worsens get emergent eval.

i am having laser tattoo removal on the back of my neck. i had my first session two weeks ago , its healing very well however i noticed a round hard painful lump at the base of my skull back of neck. swollen lymph node??

: You are likely correct. Any disturbance of the skin surface as would be in tattoo removal may trigger enlargement of local nodes that can persist for a few weeks.

Depends on location: Lymphatic system absorbs/carries things too big to go into the arteries/veins like bacteria eaten by white cells and digested food. Lymph nodes "taste" the lymph for anything bad  like bacteria/viruses/cancers, etc. When it detects a problem, it alerts the immune system and your body reacts.  They enlarge in response to the inflammation they create when they react.  They shrink when all is well.

Varies with cause: Enlarged lymphnodes may feel shotty, i.e. Like pellets under the skin; these may be rubbery, often due to lymphoma, may be soft and tender if due to infection and on its way to forming an abscess, lymphondes may be matted in case of TB and advanced metastatic tumors.

Maybe: Has this been seen by the pediatrician?  Cannot give helpful info without knowing more about the lymph node, age of baby, how it first arose, etc.   Need help before could help you more.
