Occasionally patients will feel short of breath or have a racing heart.

Needs evaluation: Blood clots can be difficult to diagnose but are potentially very serious.  It is best if a patient who suspects they may have them to have a thorough medical evaluation to examine the areas affected, get preliminary measurements, some blood tests could be run as part of the evaluation, and typically get Doppler ultrasounds to evaluate the blood flow through the veins.

Yes: A blood clot in the leg is typically in a vein and if it dislodges it may go to the heart. Most of the time it will pass through the heart and go to the lung. This is known as a pulmonary embolus. In some people it may pass through one side of the heart to the other and then go into the arterial blood system, even to the brain where it may cause a stroke.

See urologist ASAP: That is perplexing.  The blood clots are treated with anti-coagulation, so there is an increased risk of bleeding.  I am not a urologist, however, so i defer ot their expertise as to the source of the bleeding in the seminal tract.
