had middle ear infection last summer and treated it with drops and antibiotics. since then pain and small bleeding. now large blood clots in ear. why?

Continued infection?: Sounds like your infection never cleared up entirely and might now be worse again. See your doctor soon. Don't be tempted to restart any leftover antibiotics pills or eardrops; these could make diagnosis more difficult. Good luck.

See your doctor: This is a specialized problem and usually your ear does not bleed so i think leaving it alone is not a good idea.  Also I am not sure you know it is a blood clot witout a proper exam.  So in all cases you should see a specialist.

Med eval: Check for signs of infection: ^'ed redness, warmth, swelling. ^'ed tenderness, pus, red streaking, swollen lymph nodes or fever. Recommend keeping piercing in place  unless directed by Dr (if removed – drainage tract will close up w ^'ed risk of abscess formation). Call Dr for medical evaluation. Your Dr may prescribe oral antibiotics or antibiotic ointments to apply to piercing site.

Why guess?: Constant pain - unless it's been chronic and you know the reason - or severe acute pain are signals from your body for attention. Please heed them. The moving pain may or may not be related to the red spot but deserve an exam. Your guess of a blood clot may come from thin air or your hx. It would be a serious cause so be seen ASAP. Best!

after general anathetic last year for ear op i had a pain in lung for 2 weeks when breathing. blood clot was ruled out.  now get thick phlem.  cancer?

Anything is possible: See a Lung specialist to assess for Reactive lung dzz. Could consider some imaging and lung function test. Good luck

our pediatrician scraped my daughter's ear canal while trying to remove earwax.  this a.m. she has dark blood clot(?) and can't hear out of it.

Needs Evaluation: The cleaning most likely caused some bleeding causing a blood clot and blocking the canal. You should go back to your physician and have him/her reevaluate your daughter and remove the blood clot.  They should check the ear drum as well and make sure there isn&#x27;t any injury.

Unlikely: A blood clot would get resolved in a few days or a few weeks at the longest.

No: The med is a cousin to a stress hormone you make daily. In usual doses it will not interfere with the BC pill or your other meds.

wisdom teeth removal, 1 was impacted. it started hurting a few days after, it still looks like i have a blood clot. the pain is in my ear/ jaw bone.?

Possible: This can happen after a wisdom tooth is removed.   Usually pain medications will help.   You are probably asking if you have a dry socket.   You know if you have this if there is a 10 out of 10 pain and the pain medications do not help at all.

my left forearm and hand is beat red and very hot.this has been occurring for 3 months now. there is some slight swelling.there's no pain, i haven't injured it.i've r/o blood clot, cellulitis and carpal tunnel.my left ear is always hot too.   help me?
