: I don't think so. It would be like putting the cart before the horse. Gas buildup after eating can often be controlled by omitting gassy foods&amp;beverages &amp; taking simethicone 1/2 hour after meals.

normal cbc and metabolic panel. some stomach issues, bloating and indigestion. in the middle of my stomach area a round circle of spider veins four inches in size. is that a liver problem?

: "Some stomach issues" covers a lot of ground...The "round circle of spider veins" is also troubling.  There is a physical finding called "caput medusa" which can fit that description and is indicative of portal hypertension, a liver disorder.  You need a good exam and evaluation...sooner rather  than later.

6.4 ovarian cyst. not pregnant and no urine or kidney problems had test done. sharp awful pain in low right abdomen. frequent urination. bloating.

Laparoscopy...: A large ovarian cyst can give you pain and bloating.  How it is treated depends on how bad your pain is and on its appearance on ultrasound.  If you are in a lot of pain, it can be removed surgically, usually using laparoscopy as an out-patient procedure.  Laparoscopy results in very small scars.  These cysts are almost never cancer is a women in her 20s.   Best wishes!

took an ec pill last month, three days later i got my due period normally.now 6-7 days i am having some bloating and pain in my abdomen.and breast discomfort.is this pms or anything else? my period is due on 15th.i had an history of gas related prblm?

: Emergency contraception is taken within 72 hours after unprotected sex. It contains a high level of hormones that interfere with ovulation and the implantation of a fertilized embryo. It should not be used regularly as the levonorgestrel can have side effects including nausea, abdominal pain, bloating, fatigue, headache, irregular bleeding, breast pain. These can last up to 2 months.

ive had stomach problems for 3-4 months; trouble digesting, bloating, soft stool, mild pains in gut & lower right abdomen. that pain now moving down my right leg. saw a doctor. my stool test (3 containers) came back all negative. what is happening?

: See another doctor. The problem I see in your question is a need for better communication. After a consultation and tests, you are left with no better understanding of what is bothering you physically. The possibilities are too many for anyone on this platform to tell you the cause. Look for a clinician who hears you and who addresses your concerns in a way that reassures you.

i have the left side of my lower abdomen and tummy slightly bigger than the left side. and i have also had a missed period and bloating and hard stool. and i have cramping in my lower abdomen for about a week now.  what could be the problem?

If it's constipation: A young adult with constipation needs to be sure there is no other disease causing it. If constipation is just due to slow movement of food and poop through the gut, then the things to try are vegetables, water, prune juice, prunes, fiber-with-water, polyethylene glycol, Senokot or other senna, milk of magnesia, other laxatives... A doctor can evaluate and maybe prescribe helpful medicines too.

i'm having very low left sharp and steady abdominal pain. i've had groin pain related to si joint problems, but this is more low abdomen. i have ankylosing spondilytis, but this isn't spinal. no bloating or other issues. i'm not sure how to treat?

: At your age and with the pain location, acute diverticulitis is strongly suspected. Physical exam, blood test and CT of the abdomen will confirm the diagnosis but not always necessary. Recently, studies have shown that antibiotic(s) may not change the outcome in mid to moderate cases. You need to hydrate well in the mean time. Go to the hospital if pain gets worse or high fever &amp; chill occur.

Continue evaluation: Upper abdominal pain can be from acid pains, such as gastric reflux with or without ulcer, or just gastritis with no ulcer. Sometimes pain can be from other things in the area such as:  abdominal muscle or lining, ribs or spine, nerves coming from the spine, bottom of lung, chest and lung linings, small intestine, large intestine, right kidney, liver or gall bladder, abdominal lymph nodes, etc...

Constipation or loose stool related to diet or inflammation of bowel and if in sigmoid colon with diverticular disease. lt. lower abodiminal pain noted
