You can't rule ibs: Before we diagnose ibs we have to rule out other problems, like gall bladder disease, chronic constipation, poor diet habits.

Abdominal bloating: There are a few medications like Amitiza (lubiprostone) and linzess.You need see a doctor to get these medication as these are prescription medication.

: You could. Alternatively, you may take a fiber laxative like Metamucil and drink enough water daily so that your urine is colorless. For the long term you may try to increase your intake of fiber foods. Consult this site for fiber foods.

IBS: It is possible you may have IBS from what you said. There are treatment available, consider a Gastroenterology consult

Maybe not IBS: Enteritis (viral, bacterial), inflammation, gut dysmotility, malabsorption/maldigestion, etc. may results in all the symptoms you described without evoking IBS.  Time for evaluation.

i am on day 13 of low fodmap diet. my symptoms have changed from loose stools to constipation and bloating on low fodmap diet. why am i having bloating and incomplete evacuation? i am strictly following low formap diet for my ibs?

IBS or more ?: Abdominal distress as described, particularly if recurrent or persistent, is not to be ignored--its a warning sign that something may be wrong inside your abdomen. Please see my many healthtap answers on the subject of what causes ibs-like symptoms. Not all such problems are serious, but you don't want to miss a problem that is.  Tell your doctor location, intensity, duration, timing, triggers...

Get evaluated.: You could have IBS, but you could have other causes of your symptoms such as inflammatory Bowel Disease, celiac disease, or Crohn's disease.  You should get in to your physician or gastroenterologist and have a complete evaluation.  Keep a diary of your symptoms and a food log as well - this may help in your evaluation.

Hi there : Hi there, bloating and pain after a period are “ normal” if you have had them before, anything out of the ordinary for you should be a red flag, it’s also important to remember paying a visit to your obgyn once a year .

im experiencing really bad acid reflux, bloating, nausea, and chronic constipation due to ibs. the worst part is controlling the nausea and and bloating. i frequently feel fluid come back up. im on protonix twice a day. idk what else to do?

: Lifestyle changes may be helpful. Reduce/avoid caffeine in any form or nicotine (these loosen the stomach closure for hours). Avoid reclining for at least an hour after any meal or large intake of fluids. (Full stomach increases backwash in that position). Keep a food diary and decide what foods/sauces aggravate your symptoms. If this doesn't help in a few weeks talk with your doc.
