Lifestyle changes may be helpful. Reduce/avoid caffeine in any form or nicotine (these loosen the stomach closure for hours). Avoid reclining for at least an hour after any meal or large intake of fluids. (Full stomach increases backwash in that position). Keep a food diary and decide what foods/sauces aggravate your symptoms. If this doesn't help in a few weeks talk with your doc.
