no gallbladder issues according to hida. nausea and vomiting, especially in car. bloating after small meals. pain in abdomen. dizziness. what is this?

When do you get pain? What type? How long does it last? Anything make it better? Anything make it worse? Does food affect the pain? Have you had any surgery ? How long has it been there? Have you tried any medications? Did they work? Did you injure yourself? Pulled muscle etc? Has anyone done any studies?  See an MD for eval

Chronic constipation: Chronic constipation can cause bloating . Ensure drinking lots of water, active and increased fiber and vegetables.

Accepted Answer

Yes: Drinking large amounts of water while eating a meal is not a good practice and leads to air swallowing which leads to gaseous discomfort. It also adds volume to stomach contents as well as diluting digestive enzymes too much.

Too much fiber?: Unfortunately, some patients who eat "too healthy" with foods high in psyllium, can develop bloating in their lives. If cutting back on the healthy food doesn't help, then try a probiotic to see if this helps or not.

i ve always bloating after eating any meal with no diahrrea ! what could that be ?

See your doctor: Bloating is caused by gas, which could occur because of any of the following: 1) stomach acid is being neutralized by a base (opposite of an acid), 2) could be caused by intestinal bacteria, 3) could be caused by lactose (milk sugar) intolerance, 4) could be from swallowed air during eating, or 5) many other causes. Try to identify foods, especially milk or cheese, and limit talking during meals.

No.: Fruit, like all food, gets broken down by digestive enzymes, and the nutrients are absorbed. Some of the sugars such as sorbitol and fructose are not well digested by humans, and some soluble fruit fibers also. These work as natural laxatives and are good for us. Excess of anything is not good, and too much fruit or fruit fiber could cause gas. Eat fruit in moderation and enjoy!

Keep food/bloating diary to see if a specific food is doing it. If you find  a food that does it in u then stop it and see if that helps. May want to try eating smaller amounts.
