Need to be seen: Not enough detail here for correct identification. If it sticks out like a finger, it is an acrochordon (benign skin tag). If it is a lump deep in the skin it is an epidermal syst or tricholemmal cyst. If you shave there it may contain an in-growing hair.Sometimes they have an opening through which you can squeeze out sebum which looks like cream cheeze with a sour odor.

Allergic reaction: Personal care items like deodorants or body creams can some times cause allergic reactions with blistering.  If it is only on one side and painful consider a viral infection.

It's possible: HSV can occur anywhere on the skin and in the oral cavity.
While it's possible for HSV to cause a blister in the armpit(axilla) it is less common. Tissue from scrapings of the lesion can be tested for HSV by immunofluorescense staining or PCR DNA testing.

Many possibilities: People with gluten sensitivity (Celiac disease) may have abdominal pain and blisters.  However if your skin rash is painful, we need to consider other potential causes as well.  Have you consulted a skin disease specialist? If not, it is time to do so.

for about 11 years i have gotten painful blister like bumps on my inner thighs and armpits. multiple drs don't know what the cause is. any ideas?

See your doctor: Painful blisters needs to be seen by your doctor to document location, size, and type of bumps/blisters. If needed, they can do a scrape biopsy to find out what it is. By itself, it's hard to determine, and you may be referred to a dermatologist who can pinpoint it right away and take care it. It's impossible to determine without seeing it in person, by your doctor first.

Having them confined to her armpit is an unusual location and could be caused by local exposure to an irritant, infections, or even poison ivy through touching the area. Infection?: &quot;Blister&quot; normally means superficial, filled with clear fluid. I can&#x27;t explain something like that. Maybe allergy? But if these are deeper bumps that drain pus, sometimes with blood, then you may be having recurrent staph or strep infections. Or maybe a chronic problem called hidradenitis suppurativa. See a doctor, preferably a dermatologist or infectious diseases specialist. Good luck!

Abscess or infection: Sounds like an infection that needs treatment.  Lymph node is a possibility.  Problems like this should be seen and evaluated.
