i have water blister like bumps only on one elbow and opposite knee. they itch like crazy and dont respond to cortisone creams. any suggestions?

: Avoid scratching and apply cool compress to the sites as needed for itching in the meantime then see your doctor next day for the correct diagnosis and treatment.

Need Evaluation: This can be a lot of things, first thing that comes to mind is pemphigus, a skin condition that blisters and if rubbed the skin can slough off.  You could also have a skin infection or several other problems.  You need a good dermatology evaluation.

Difficult to say: As you can imagine, rashes of any type are difficult to diagnosis definitively without an examination.  Recurring rashes can be due to allergies, eczema, infections or other causes.  Best to see your family doctor, internist, or dermatologist to get a diagnosis and treatment plan.

Rashes: Are best evaluated by being seen...Literally. Blister like pimples on elbows and knees could be molluscum conatgiosum...Can't tell without seeing.  You don't say how long they have been there.  Did they appear since he was on the medication or before? Could be a viral rash. Does not sound like a typical allergy rash from medication..Make an appointment with your physician for the best answer.

Allerfy? Psoriaisis?: This could represent dermatitis or psoriasis. This could be assocated with food allergy or atopic dermatitis. Try hydrocrotisone over the counter. If not effective see dermatologist for evaluation amd treatment.

I'm concerned: Young woman with multiple joint swelling is always concerning for autoimmune disease such as lupus, rheumatoid arthritis and other syndromes. The real concern is that they may be organ damage occurring such as to the liver, kidneys, blood vessels. I would immediately see your general practitioner, family doctor. He will start with ordering a spectrum of laboratory tests.
