Normal !: It takes a woman's body a few cycles to get used to the new hormones in the birth control pill. Most women will start to menstruate shortly after stopping the hormone pills while they are taking the placebos. The number of placebo pills can differ from one brand of birth control pill to another. If her bleeding is predictable, that's a good thing ! some women stop bleeding completely on the pill !

Jhs found predominantly in women. As children could back bridge & put feet behind neck.  Jhs makes for easy childbirth & painful periods.

Increase complex carbohydrates – try to incorporate at least 5 servings of vegetables and 4 servings of fruit into your diet daily.   Try: omega- 3 fatty acids. Try to take in magnesium either through supplementation or through your diet with your dr’s approval.

Dysmenorrhea: Nsaid’s, ssri’s, hormone meds, otc meds containing diuretics, warm bath, heating pad, exercise & acupuncture are excellent for dysmenorrhea. Avoid caffeine, chocolate, alcohol & salt. Get gyn eval to r/o underlying pathology. Consider omega- 3 fatty acids, magnesium (supplementation or through diet) or black cohosh with dr ok. Sipping chamomile & green tea can dissipate pain.
