May be late period: It may be your period coming 8 days late.If you are sexually active and had unprotected sex,it could be that you were pregnant.To be sure do a home pregnancy test and if negative it means your period just came late.If it keeps happening consult your Gynecologist.

Several causes: Prolonged bleeding without cramps/pain is often a benign problem due to hormone changes or stress, but if it persists it should be evaluated. Small possibility of a pregnancy/miscarriage.  Infections usually cause pain, &amp; malignancy would be very unlikely in your young age. Best to wait &amp; see what happens over next few weeks &amp; definitely see Dr if pain/fever/nausea/dizziness.

The only way to know if someone had implantation bleeding or just irregular menstrual bleeding is to wait and see if you are pregnant. If your test is positive then this was implantation bleeding. If it is negative then it is just irregular menstrual bleeding.
