Is bleeding for 8-9 days without any cramps a sign of anything? is it the start of a period change or?

Several causes: Prolonged bleeding without cramps/pain is often a benign problem due to hormone changes or stress, but if it persists it should be evaluated. Small possibility of a pregnancy/miscarriage. Infections usually cause pain, & malignancy would be very unlikely in your young age. Best to wait & see what happens over next few weeks & definitely see Dr if pain/fever/nausea/dizziness.
