DON'T cleanse !: Healthtap physicians have repeatedly addressed this subject with a clear 'no' answer to colonics. There is virtually no value to colon flushes, cleansers, enemas, irrigation machines when the technique is accomplished to 'detox' or eliminate 'accumulated waste.' bleeding means something is torn, irritated, or inflammed from the colonic. Get checked right away, & don't let them hurt you again.

No,: not in general.  It may detect the cause of bleeding, for example a mass or signs of colitis, but blood in the colon will in most cases be either undetectable or look like generic fluid.

Not usually: Depending on exactly how the bowel connection was constructed some mild bleeding can be normal for a month or two but rately later than that.  If you are continuing to bleed more than 6-8 weeks after colon surgery it should be checked out.

: It can be either constant or intermittent. Sometimes a tumor doesn’t bleed all the time so any blood in the stool should be seen by GI and investigated. If there is any blood in the stool, even microscopic, see a GI doctor for evaluation. You may need a colonoscopy. Good luck!

See a doctor: Rectal bleeding can be from a variety of causes including hemmorhoids, colon cancer, diverticular disease, etc. You need to get it checked out by your doctor.

Occult/hidden: Most of the time there is no visible blood.  Testing for bleeding lesions requires testing for occult blood, fecal occult blood test (fbot).  There is more than one method.  If is recommended that this test be done three times each year on persons over the age of 50, unless they have undergone colonoscopy.

i've had a colon osscopathy  done said i had internal hemorrhoids that were causing bleeding, but it still pours out and i don't have medical?

Problem: It is great that there was not cancer or other items.
There are local treatments for the hemorrhoid s to shrink, but some do need surgery and you may be one of those.
