I think you mean irritable bowel syndrome.It's not known exactly what causes irritable bowel syndrome. The walls of the intestines are lined with layers of muscle that contract and relax in a coordinated rhythm as they move food from your stomach through your intestinal tract to your rectum. If you have ibs, the contractions may be stronger and last longer than normal, causing gas, bloating , etc.

Loosing so much weight in such a short period of time is not recommended.  It's a good exercise and diet program weight loss may top 1-2 pounds a week.  Most important is to change overall eating habits so wright loss can be maintained.  Your friend is very young and at a good time to develop good habits that will keep her healthy for many years to come.

portabella mushrooms large and small are healthy but they should be cooked and organic ones are much better to avoid pesticide exposure.
