Potentially possible: Radiation cystisits( urin. Bladder inflammation ) canpotentially  happen, similalry of the ureters from readiation therapy to the neighbouring pelvic organs/abdominal, organs though they will be protected from unnecessary exposure with the filters.

How do you know: it&#x27;s the ureter? could be something else; in the same region there is an ovary, Fallopian tube, and other structures such as ligaments, any increase in intra-abdominal pressure would affect an already inflamed / congested organ. You need good assessment by a gynecologist. / urologist, good luck

Stent removal: If you are referring to a ureteral stent removal there are very few side effects associated with their removal. The length of time they were indwelling could have an effect on whether they are encrusted with stone or not. Imaging with I.V. Dye and cystoscopy would be appropriate if symptoms remained after 3 to 4 weeks from removal.

Diffuse?: This is a common benign incidental change in the bladder mucosa. A patch or two of cystitis glandularis is no reason to be concerned. When it is widespread ("diffuse"), it generally means that there's underlying disease in the urinary tract / ureters. You indicate you have hydronephrosis. It is a marker for the need for cancer vigilance ; perhaps contains mutations that keep it going.

Yes: stone in kidney doesn't cause pain most of the time: stone in renal pelvis and upper ureter cause flank pain while stone in lower ureter and bladder cause lower abdomen pain; spasm of ureter is responsible for colicky pain

i had a nephroureterectomy two years ago. at that time, there was cancer in the ureter only; none in kidney or bladder. now, there is one node that is suspicious for recurrence. chemo is advised. how effective is it?

Tell us more: How did they find the suspected node? By scan ? Please tell us your age, ct or pet scans findings. Consult with your dr about the need for biopsy for confirmation of recurrence? Do not be shy. Ask about the extent of the disease, is it localized? Did it spread ? Is it the same cancer ? What type of chemo?

Stone: I would suggest you see a urologist as soon as possible. Any hydronephrosis is not good - it may lead to infection, kidney dysfunction. Size of stone is immaterial - its the effects it is causing that matters.

i was just told i have a 5mm stone in my ureter but now today i pee normally and no discoloration. so my question i guess is if it's in my bladder?

Stone: Do you know if stone was near your bladder?  A 5 mm stone is large enough to get stuck.  If stone not moving it will not hurt but still be obstructing ureter.  Strain urine, but make sure you recheck your doctor in a week or so.
