Not sure: One could get adhesions from surgery. Bladder lives in a different space than bowel. It is possible, however, to get adhesions to bladder and this could potentially lead to symptoms. It is rare. C a urologist to discuss in person.

Adhesions: Adhesions do not grow. They are almost impossible to see on CT-Scan unless they are significantly large. Sometimes you can make out the locations because the bowel looks abnormal on special bowel exams. If you suspect adhesions then you must be evaluated fully - the risk if you leave it and it is adhesions is incomplete bowel obstruction that can cause complete obstruction.

Peritoneal adhesions: Adhesions in the abdominal/pelvic/peritoneal cavity result from inflammation. This can be from surgery or injury, from infection, inflammatory bowel disease, chemical irritation (such as blood, )and from foreign material. You do not state age: in reproductive age females endometriosis, infection, surgery (especially cesarean delivery) are common causes. A clear cause is also not always identified.

Schedule follow up: Usually people are feeling pretty normal 9 days after a laparoscopic surgery. If you are still having pain then it is important to schedule a follow up post op visit with the doctor who did your surgery to make sure all is ok.

Yes, insignificant : Yes, but likely will never be significant.  Any surgery can cause adhesions.  The more inflammation and dissection, the more likely.  Most adhesions are w/o symptoms, and intestinal obstruction the most common problem related to adhesions.

I suspect your surgery caused this to be.
If persists and not yet evaluated by Urology have it checked. It is most likely incidental.

: Uncommon. But as years go by, can become slightly more common. Overall sufficiently rare that there is no reason to worry about it

Can be both: Sphincter of Odi dysfunction can cause gall bladder like pain. Drugs like Morphine Sulfate can cause spasm of the sphincter of Odi with similar pain. Adhesions can also cause similar  pain, so both opinions may be correct. A more detailed history will likely help answer your question

a few months after laparoscopic surgery, i developed bladder pain (symptoms of interstitial cystitis). however the pain only occurs after passing urine. could this be due to adhesions/residual endo nodules that were left around my bladder/ureter?

Testing : Your doctor can evaluate you to determine if you have interstitial cystitis. They can also determine if treatment for endometriosis is warranted. Medications like Orilissa are highly effective for endometriosis.

Need 2nd opinion: Suggest you see urologist or uro-gynecologist who expertise in pelvis surgery. If all surgery done by gyn dr see a urologist, if by urologist see uro-gyn. Ideally, work-up should include video-urodynamics to arrive at root cause of problem. Surgical opions r sling procedures (minimally invasive) & suspensions (open surgery) or injecting bulking agent around bladder neck.
