When blood is denatured by acid in your stomach, as from ulcers, stools will turn tarry ("melena"). Blood may also be ingested from nose bleeds, bleeding gums... Persistent melena (without obvious cause) & symptoms warrants md visit.

Need more info: It would be important to know your age. Black specks could be blood. Could be from bleeding somewhere in your colon or a hemorrhoid. It is concerning that you have pain &amp; some constipation. Please see your family physician and see if he/she recommends a colonoscopy or some other test depending on your age &amp; physical exam.

Blood?: Are you referring to bleeding in the stool?  I'm entirely unaware of that complaint in patients taking Klonopin (clonazepam) (as far as anybody I've ever treated throughout training and practice). One source I'm referencing fails to list this in their side effects for 1-10% of the time so if it does happen it's more rare than finding intelligent politicians.  I cannot find any source listing blood in stool

See a GI specialist: What you could be seeing is blood in your stools. I would see a gastrointestinal specialist asap, to make sure there is no bleeding ulcers in your stomach.  In the meantime, i suggest stopping the lemon water and any non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications, such as advil, aleve, (naproxen) motrin, ibruprofen, goody, or bc powder which can worsen bleeding.

Be seen: It could be several things.  See your physician for an exam and diagnosis.

: You need to exclude occult blood in your stool. You can buy a kit from a pharmacy to do the test at home, or you could consult your doctor for an evaluation. 100% wheat is not likely to be relevant.

Not always: A guaiac or hemoccult test should help clarify. let your doc know, test can be performed at home or strips can be sent to the office.
