Oh, : Oh, i answered earlier but i didn't have this info.  Smoking can cause mucus black tinged mucus. There is mucus through out our respiratory system. It grabs on to germs, dust, chemicals and things like particles we inspire from tobacco. The mucus than gets pushed along out of our system. I hope that this is a motivation for you to quit. If this continues, recommend that you see your doctor for a thorough evaluation.

Spitting black mucus: This could be serious.  Blood can turn blackish color, so  if you have some bleeding in the respiratory tract or upper intestinal tract you could be spitting this up.

Diet/reflux/stress: Black tinged mucous sounds like old blood. That would me from a slow bleeding ulcer.  It also sounds like you might have acid reflux where the stomach acid goes back up thru the esophagus.  This will result jn bad heartburn , and if it the acid refluxes all the way to the lung you can have asthma like symptoms or that may be what is causing the black mucous.

Need an eye exam. : It's prudent that you get examined by an ophthalmologist as soon as possible. The small red spot that you are describing sounds like a sub conjunctival hemorrhage which is due to a blood vessel that was damaged under the white membrane of the eye.  In itself it's not dangerous but trauma to the eye may be associated with glaucoma, retinal tear, blood in the anterior chamber known as hyphema, etc.

First is that the trauma that you sustained could have also caused damage to the inner lying tissues  of the nose or it can be due to the fact that the nasolacrimal duct which drains tears from our eye is draining blood from the eye. Either way you must see an ophthalmologist to get thoroughly examined.
