Possibly: Exchange of oral fluids has a low transmission rate unless there are punctures, tears, or bleeding in the mouth, lips, or tongue. If you do not know your partner's status then it would be wise to be tested for hiv. Wait 2-3 weeks after contact before getting tested. If the test is negative you may need to return for a second. If your partner does not know her status, she should also be tested.

: Transmission is possible from mucous membranes. It takes 1-3 months for the virus to manifest itself. Vaccination will eliminate the virus, so no immediate transmission to another person is possible. If left untreated, saliva to saliva contact will transmit the virus.
