Safe yes. Effective?: Biotin and zinc are found naturally in a normal diet.  Supplementation is rarely needed.  The RDA of biotin is about 30 mcg/day. Whether high dose supplement promotes healthy hair/skin/nails is unknown, but it's probably safe.  The RDA of zinc is about10 mg/day.  I suspect you're taking 50 mg not 50 mcg ,which is safe,but there's no evidence that supplement beyond the RDA has any health benefits.

Not true: I know of no evidence that biotin has any effect on breast size. While important for healthy hair and nails, biotin deficiency is not common so it is not all that likely to help much, but some people do believe it can help and it is very safe to try it.

Biotin: Hi, Biotin is a cofactor for Vitamin B group and is water soluble and it excess can be excreted from body by kidney so I don't think it could cause any problem and toxicity, I don't think Biotin has side effects if the kidney is working fine, although I saw the other day a colleague said it could cause skin breakout so I did a search and I couldn;t find any scientific evidence.
